First of all copy all the addrbook*.bak files somewhere as a safe
backup, in your user directory under another sub-directory would be a
good place.

Next shut down CM in a controlled fashion.

Copy the saved files from before (the ones in your user sub-directory)
into ~/.claws-mail/addrbook and rename them all by removing the *.bak
extension.

Restart CM, check your address books are back.
