I hope you have read the email from
Eternal September that I had attached
as a pdf file?

My idea was that if I don't provide
username or password, the server will
ask for the same.

This is the case with Google, where I
haven't provided username and password,
and the server asks for user-id and
password.

However, I shall follow your advice and
see if this rectifies the problem.
