If I did forget about it, it was because it is too cumbersome for me.
To make "cumbersome" more precise, the total number of keystrokes I'd
use in a session with my present options but with "never" is much larger
than the number I'd use in a session with my present options and with
the hypothetical(?) Jump command.
So, my question (and potentially a feature request) stands.
