Sorry if this has come up and been disposed of
previously.  The circumstance is a case where
one is replying to a message, and one wishes
to attach other email messages ...

Yes, you can click away from the reply, 
save the other messages to a file, then
attach the file.  But couldn't it all be
handled *within* Claws mail?  (So not 
just a "attach a file" but also an "attach a
message" option)
