Really?  I have been looking for this option, but AFAICS it doesn't
exist.  What knob do I have to turn / push?

Or is this effective only in the Sent folder?  I don't use it, I file
outgoing mails in INBOX to keep whole threads.

(Using 3.11.1 with IMAP)
