In case it helps anyone, Gentoo's mirrors have the source tarballs for 3.9.0
through 3.9.3.  They're in the disfiles/ subdirectory of each mirror.

The sha256 hash for the 3.9.3 tarball should be
53aacceab45af6c3ee1f0668956a6e3328d21ac4efcfc0aa8dfd7d7552a62372
