I'm a git noob...  can you give me a Quick Notes(tm) how to summary?  My
src is at 3.9.3-173-g9b192e-dirty

I just created another CM instance on a fresh userid and Get stalls on
the first (oldest) message, so I'm seriously interested in trying to
determine if one of the above is the culprit...

Just tried to close this test CM instance and it was still stalled...
had to fg and Ctl+c it...
