Bug ID: 3113
Summary: Reference to "C:" drive from Linux
Classification: Unclassified
Product: Claws Mail
Version: 3.9.3
Hardware: PC
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: Other
Assignee: users at lists.claws-mail.org
Reporter: lbickley at bickleywest.com
System Info:
OS: openSUSE 13.1
uname: Linux asrock 3.11.10-7-desktop #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Feb 3 09:41:24 UTC
2014 (750023e) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
CPU: AMD 6100 six-core
Memory: 8GB
Bug:
About once a week, claws will hang with an error message: "File
C:\Users\POSTEP~1\AppData\Local\Temp\msohtmlclip1\01\clip_image002.gif is empty
or does not exist".
It's really strange that Claws is attempting to access a "C:" drive in a Linux
system!
Claws will not respond to mouse clicks and does not scan for incoming emails
until the error message is acknowledged. After the error message is
acknowledged, Claws continues normally.
What is "interesting" is that Claws did not exhibit this behavior when I
initially installed 3.9.3 (btw, I always compile Claws from source - I do NOT
use the RPM's from openSUSE as they always seem to be behind about one
release). I have only observed this bug for the last few weeks.
I didn't report it earlier, as it occurs infrequently. But it has become more
irritating with time ;)
