            Bug ID: 3099
Summary: Username and password stored in plain text
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: Claws Mail
           Version: 3.9.3
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: Plugins/vCalendar
          Assignee: users at lists.claws-mail.org
          Reporter: tradej at redhat.com

Hi.

I am concerned about the fact that the Claws vCalendar plugin stores username
and password to an authenticated address in plain text. There is currently no
way around it that I can see. This seriously, seriously insecure and prevents
me from using this plugin at all.

Can you please implement the option to type in the username and password every
time Claws starts, such as the main application allows with e-mail accounts?

Thank you, Tomas Radej
