Well: I compared it to Sylpheed (and Trojitá and Thunderbird) because I wanted
to see if other email clients do show the same issue. If they would have shown
the same issue, then maybe Claws Mail wouldn't be at fault. However, those
other three email clients (yes, Sylpheed happened to be among them) did not
show this issue. So, Claws Mail is very likely at fault here, thus I have a
reason to submit a bug report.

By the way, considering that you always say and repeatedly try to teach me
"Sylpheed is irrelevant here", I found it very funny to read how Ricardo Mones
wrote the following sentence a few days ago:
