[Users] Three questions

1: I have an Inbox folder and a double dozen
subordinate folders. When I click on a
subordinate folder all messages appear. But for
the Inbox folder proper I have to put in a
search term (usually just the letter b) to get
read messages to be listed. 

2: One of my subordinate folders has a red folder
icon. The rest are all blue.

3: One of my subordinate folders is marked with a
black right triangle icon. The rest aren't.

Any explanations?
