Generally I don't think so, but what you could try is to right click on
the mailbox that is causing the problem and select Rebuild folder tree.
This will flush the local cache and force a reload of metadata from the
server.

It might help, but no guarantees.

Do you have any details on the server in question, software, version
etc?
