[Users] install plug-ins _only_

How to install only the individual plug-ins?

Currently the directory '/usr/lib/claws-mail/plugins' is empty, so
opened the hyperlink in the dialogue window to "get more plugins".
This leads only to sourceforge tarballs of the entire program.

I don't want to upgrade, am perfectly satisfied with the version
already installed. I just want to install a few specific plugins.

Where is the directory of plugins?
