Well, I’ve just tried to update from the git repo, and its failing to
install on the same place as before. So, I’ve checked with 'apt-cache
policy' and I DO have automake1.10 and do NOT have automake1.13.
So I renamed my git repo directory, and tried with a fresh git install,
but that fails at the same place and time as before.
So I installed automake1.4 and that fails at the same time and place as
before!
So I saw from apt-cache show that there was an 'automake' available
so I did a apt-cache policy on it, and it turns out to be
'automake1.13'! So that was removed pronto-like! And it now installs
with automake1.4 installed.
However, it does load up as 'version 3.9.2-35-ge871b1-dirty' although I
have not patched it and its afresh git installation, so I don’t know
whats happening there?
I hope this helps other folks?
Thanks
Sharon.
