The options 'use gpg-agent to manage passwords' and 'store passphrase
in memory' are mutually exclusive. If you choose to use gpg-agent
(and pinetry) then you can't use Claws to remember your password, and
vice-versa.
Which are you using? If you're using pinentry for entering your
passphrase but don't have the 'use gpg-agent' option checked then it
seems that your gnupg-agent installation/setup is broken.
