Is this
  mail_location = maildir:/caliban/mail/%u
in fact the correct mail_location? I ask because Debian recently
updated Dovecot and changed the value of mail_location which caused
quite a bit of grief over where all my mail had disappeared along with
some odd-seeming behavior from CM.
