            Bug ID: 2914
Summary: SIGSEGV when doing an LDAP lookup and hostname can not
                    be looked up
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: Claws Mail
           Version: 3.9.0
          Hardware: PC
               URL: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=949903
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: UI/Address Book/LDAP
          Assignee: users at lists.claws-mail.org
          Reporter: maemo.org at pcfe.net

Ran into this on a new machine where I had already set the hostname of the
laptop but had not yet made the addition to DNS.

The bug was first filed downstream in Red Hat's Bugzilla as 949903

Steps to reproduce:
1. Set up new machine and give it a hostname not yet in DNS (I used
x230.pcfe.net)
2. use LDAP lookup in claws-mail

Actual result:
claws-mail crashes with SIGSEGV

Expected result:
claws-mail does not crash. Ideally it would still do LDAP lookup, even though I
had a non-existing hostname set.

Additional info:
Please see RHBZ #949903 for more details (or tell if you would prefer I attach
all files in this Bugzilla)
