When I say "Currently there is no way to collapse the folder tree (true
collapse, where all sub-nodes are also collapsed)" I really mean there's no
easy way to do it other than scrolling up the folder tree pressing "-" key on
all nodes, or doing it click-by-click on each node.

"Node" is a folder with sub-folder so that it displays the arrow (or box) which
points right for collapsed node, and downward when showing sub-folders.
