[Users] Sorry to ask an already previously answered question

Sorry to ask an already previously answered question, but I can't
find it. 

When CM can't connect to the mail server, my CM issues a message and
waits until I close the dialog box.

I will be away for sometimes and would like to CM to reestablish the
connection when the mail server becomes available.

There's a setting for not having the dialog box and therefore working
again when the mail server is up. I can't find it.
