[Users] Why can't I use d as a hotkey :p: :p:

Sounds like you need a new menurc file, even the original one without
changes would be a step in the right direction!  I am not sure where to
get one short of reinstalling claws-mail, hopefully someone on this
list more familiar with the package will chime in soon.
