They shouldn't - they're just sigs.

Make sure you haven't got the "Sign messages when sender signs
messages" (or whatever it's labelled)  option ticked in the Account
Settings -> Advanced.  If you do, CM is asking for *your* GPG password to
generate a sig for the outgoing mail.
