[Users] deleting an imap folder

Hi,
No its not a simple click and delete.
for some reason a folder I want to delete will not, and it wont rename
either.
I've checked in the imap server and the folder is not there,
Its just  showing on this laptop, sorta stuck in the tree.
any ideas on how to get rid of it
