I'm not sure. It might work, but on GNOME3 one would rather access Gnome
Contacts (and possibly Gnome Online Accounts) - so it might be
different.

It would be possible to rename the plugin from "gnome" to "gnome2" and
include it. However, I am not sure if Paul is so keen on adding
unmaintained plugins..
