I looked at the Preferences for that plugin.  On the Popup tab, Enable
Popup is checked, but on the SysTrayicon tab, there is another checkbox
labeled Enable Popup under Passive Toaster Popup, this was also checked
by default.  Nothing listed about a bubble.
