Are you even aware that there are now workarounds being employed to
record if/when you opened an email *without* resorting to Receipts?

For some time now, I've been seeing emails requiring the recipient to view
it in HTML mode which then triggers a response[1] to the sender --  so
much for our privacy now...  infusionsoft.com/infusionmail.com is
notorious for this.

[1] This can include:
    Time read
    Client used
    IP address used (up to local NAT router or proxy)
    Any other information that can be gathered through carefully crafted
    HTML code.

Unless the email system is completely redesigned (good luck with that),
we're subject to ever-eroding privacy...

PS  I have been avoiding this auto-receipt by taking CM offline before
reading such a message...  It's funny hearing back that they think I've
not read their messages...  LOL    Of course, it's only a matter of time
before they figure that out...
