Regarding to tab key = toggling focus. There is a small effect on the highlighted / marked entry in the respective newly focused widget but it is really hardly visible. And what if the highlighted message / folder is just out of the pane.

With that being a possibility, i really don't know how it can be done better. Just changing the 'selected' color (towards grey, when focus is taken away) will not do it, because of that.

Any ideas ?
