1) Logon to your old computer
2) Shutdown claws-mail, if it is running: File->exit VERY, VERY
IMPORTANT!!
3) tar czf claw_folder.tar.gz ~/.claws-mail
4) scp claw_folder.tar.gz <IP_of_new_computer>:
5) Logon to your new computer
6) Shutdown claws-mail, if it is running: File->exit VERY, VERY
IMPORTANT!!
7) tar xzf claw_folder.tar.gz . (Theoretically owner of files should be
changed to the user used on this new computer)
8) For certainty: sudo chown -R
<new_user_name>:<new_user_name> .claws-mail
9) Start claws-mail on the new computer
