[Users] How to check that directory contain subdirectory?

Hi, 

I'm just polishing my recursive-mark-as-read patch, to submit it.

But I need to check on directory if it contains some subdirectories, to
display this option only on tree like structure and not on single
directory. (some FolderItem method)

And maybe I have noticed that collapsed directory tree also have
atribute that subdirectories contain unreaded messages. This also can
be use as filter.
