Paul,

I tap on my laptop's touchpad.
I also use the touchpad to scroll
and place the cursor and to start
new windows.
I tap to start a new window.

Clicking is using the keys/buttons
below the touchpad.
They function like mouse keys.
I "click" by pushing down on them.

I wrote about problems starting
the viewing of a single email message.
Yes, I wanted the message in its own window,
a window which I could move around and resize.
Here Claws reacts quite differently
from any other email clients
I've used in the past.
In Claws a simple single or double tap
or click doesn't work much of the time.

Remember I'm using a laptop computer's
keyboard not a desktop PC keyboard.
No mouse.
