Not to worry, I've just read it again and admit it not as clear as I
remember it.  :-(

I suppose that in the parlance of this application, I'm looking for
"view ==> hide read threads" in addition to "view ==> hide read
messages." In TB, this is "view ==> threads ==> threads with unread."
Pan has a button "match only unread articles" but this keeps the whole
thread visible.

Just had a peek at bugzilla and found this was requested April 2008.
