[warning: corner case ahead :) -- aka: unintended consequences category]

Hmm...  sometimes (rarely), I quickly scan a folder with up/down arrows,
so this feature might need a "Don't add to list unless message has been
viewed for ___ seconds" -- otherwise, the history list would be polluted
and worthless quite fast...
