The help page [1] states that number of feed items to keep for each feed is
customisable, but I can find this neither in the user interface (Feed
properties) nor in the configuration file (clawsrc under [rssyl]).

Did I overlook this setting, or was it removed at some point?

I find it a useful setting, at least for high-traffic lists that I need not
keep track of always.
