Is something like shred even viable on SSDs? It's not like you have any
control over whether writing repeatedly to the same block device offset
will result in writes to the same block on the SSD itself, due to all
the wear-leveling the SSD controller does.

It's better to make sure that your SSD, OS and filesystem can all make
use of the TRIM functionality, so applications like Claws Mail do not
have to worry about how the data is deleted.
