I've just imported some addresses from a .vcf file, and found the import
missing. The formatted names and email addresses seem to have been imported
properly (up to v3.0 issues, see Bug 3767), but other properties -- telephone
numbers, addresses, organization, notes, and even nicknames and name parts --
are all missing.

I note that the address book has, by default, some predefined names for the
phones and addresses, but will accept any name. It would be useful even if I
had gotten the phones as raw vcard entries -- that is, with names like
'TEL;TYPE=MOBILE' rather than the nice 'mobile phone'. But current import seems
to just ignore them.
