I'm glad it's no longer disgusting.

I was trying to fix a bug which is mostly hidden most of the time, but fixing
it uncovered some more flaws that would take more effort to fix than I can
currently spare, so I ended up reverting my changes.

A personal observation, if I may: if finding bugs in a development snapshot of
an application disgusts you, you should probably stay away from development
snapshots, for your own well-being.
