[Users] Gmail annoyances

I have set up a claws mail account to get mail from a gmail account. It
works, but has two annoyances.

* Composing leaves a trail of partially written emails behind in
[Gmail]/All Mail and in [Gmail]Important. Each one is treated as new,
so I either have to open each one, or otherwise mark them as read.

* The view shows the usual claws-mail directories. It also show a
directory labeled [Gmail] and several below that which look like
gmail-isms. Is there a way to not show [Gmail] and its subdirectories?
