It certainly appears to be.  What confuses me is that, despite you
issuing a list-secret-keys command, gpg's output printed the path to
pubring followed by pubkey data.  I didn't get any of that.

What has gone from GPG 2.1 is support for PGP-2 keys.  What implication
that has WRT to RSA, IDK.  RSA is okay in v2.0.  Running --version will
list what algorithms are supported.
