[Users] Best free e-mail service that works with Claws Mail by POP3

In the near future I plan to switch from Comcast to CenturyLink. When I
do I assume that my Comcast e-mail account will go away, so I am
looking for an alternative. I am asking here for advice because if it
won't work with Claws Mail by POP3 it gets crossed off the list. 

I should add that I have had a Gmail account for years, but I find it
difficult to use because it is designed mainly for web interface, and
probably not the most secure. Otherwise I am open to suggestions.
