Good evening Ricardo,

You are absolutely fine, I went through the documentation :
there is no notion of "permanent" key; the expiration date is, as you
said, an attribute of the key and can be modified doing :
gpg> list (to select the proper key if several)
gpg> expire (then enter expiration date)
gpg> save (to validate the choice)
