OK, I see your point, sorry for being so slow to understanding.
That doesn't change my initial feeling: the behavior I had with hitting
"Delete" (for "move to trash"), and if I now get it correctly, there is no
way to revert back to the "old behaviour", only "Delete Mail" (real delete)
has the "next_on_delete" option. Is that correct ?

You are most probably correct. I don't find this thread in my archive, but
I'm sure I sent nothing about it in July. I may also have been in holidays,
with limited Internet access... or may not have understood the implication
of the proposed changes. Anyway, that probably isn't the most important
part.

Thanks, I really appreciate, especially as I know that most of the dev. are
doing that on a best effort basis, during their "free" time.
