Not by default, i just created it before i launched claws. 

I'll do this from my desktop-session 'autostart' script next time. It's easy and sound-proof, like this, i moved a lot of other stuff into .cache already (like .thumbnails and the firefox cache) and it works fine.

The link is not broken and the permissions are ok. I checked it of course.
