I think I'm having the same problem with Claws-mail crashing
when trying to open certain e-mails using Fancy with HTML enabled. It's
important that I'm able to see the HTML images. 

When Claws-mail crashes (freezes) I have to force close it and
restrart  Claws-mail.

I'm also haveing trouble identifying which "webkit gtk" package to 
upgrade or add. I'm using SuSE 13.2 (64 bit). My current webkit
libraries are:

libwebkitgtk-1_0-0	(version 2.4.7-4.11)
libwebkitgtk-3_0-0	(version 2.4.7-4.10)

I have the following available. Are any of these appropriate to add?
