I think you misunderstand, then.

How else to get further understanding of actions taken other than to reopen?

Let alone, if it had been changed to closed / won't fix I would get that -
however resolved / invalid ... doesn't seem to intuitively fit. (The request is
neither resolved, nor invalid, so I'm confused.)
