For mailing lists being run by any modern listbot (such as this one, but
really at least 90% of them) something like the following is much, much
better and safer.

:0:
* ^List-Id: <dovecot\.dovecot\.org>
.dovecot/

Also, of course, this will work even for those few blessed lists that
don't mangle the subject.

And BTW, isn't the point of the Maildir format that is doesn't need
locking?  So why the second colon in the first line?
