As a member of the Church of the Double Checkers my beliefs doesn't
allow me to trust the holy g_utf8_validate as much as you. My sincere
apologies for that, but I hope you understand :-)

The original reporter already noticed the stdout message, so it does
*something*. It probably could be done better, a dialog instead a
console message, but there's no such request on the bug report.

The expected result seems to be that the file must be inserted no
matter what junk contains, and that's not a good idea, IMHO.
