This isn't specifically the responsibility of the Claws upstream development
team, but Claws is already available for Ubuntu 13.10:

% rmadison claws-mail
claws-mail | 3.7.4-1ubuntu1 | lucid/universe | source, amd64, armel, i386, ia64, powerpc, sparc
claws-mail | 3.8.0-1ubuntu1 | precise/universe | source, amd64, armel, armhf, i386, powerpc
claws-mail | 3.8.1-2 | quantal/universe | source, amd64, armel, armhf, i386, powerpc
claws-mail | 3.8.1-2 | raring/universe | source, amd64, armhf, i386, powerpc
claws-mail | 3.8.1-2 | saucy/universe | source, amd64, armhf, i386, powerpc
claws-mail | 3.9.2-2ubuntu1 | trusty/universe | source, amd64, arm64, armhf, i386, powerpc

I'm currently on Trusty Tahr now (Saucy is so last week :), so running 3.9.2.
I've noticed a few more crashes than with 3.8.1, but it's not been bad enough
for me to investigate further.

(The Ubuntu delta is primarily for using the indicator-messages API instead of
libindicator. I've not followed whether this patch has been proposed for
Debian or upstream.)

Cheers,
-Barry
