Wrong fix, imo. The patch could have stayed and been fixed by an
additional patch. As I said, that is already fixed.

The original patch came from a recent addition to the GIT tree, which
was very quickly fixed by another addition.

But, anyway, better without this single patch than with it. And
better to stick to release tarballs only.
