For GMX I can say for sure that in this case you mail wasn't send at
all.

They can do this in this case because they know all their users
and it seems that mex***@gmx.ch has a typo or so -- and their MTA (the
"mailserver") is configured to ignore the complete mail. I saw this
message more then once... ;-)
