G'day Bjorn,

Sounds like you are making things complicated. 

I have my laptop set up so that my SMTP is my ISP, with 
authentication.  CM figures out how to connect to the SMTP based on my
connection at the time - LAN or my mobile phone. I don't need to think
about where I am.
